Delete Pool Math Account & Data


We're sorry to see you go!  We know times change and many of you are concerned about your privacy. We at TFP understand and respect this, so we wish to make things easy to delete your account.


Before you go, however, we'd like to clarify a few things:

  • If you are getting too many notifications or emails from us, you can disable them here.
  • If you want to change your username, you can request a username change here.
  • Content posted on TroubleFreePool.com may be indexed by Google or other search engines and may not be able to be hidden or removed.  TFP will delete any identifying personal information associated to any posted content, but content itself created while on TFP may be difficult or impossible to remove.


How to delete your account

You can request to have your Pool Math account and all associated data with it deleted from the app and the app's service/database.


Self-Service Account Deletion Request

  1. Click on the icon in the top left corner of the app with 3 horizontal lines
  2. Select "About TFP" (This will open a page with more details)
  3. Scroll down to the "Account Data & Deletion" section
  4. Tap "How to Delete your Account..."
  5. Follow the instructions on the page, enter your confirmation email, and press the "Delete Account & Data" button
  6. Confirm your choice, and the request will be sent
NOTE: It may take up to 7 business days for your account data to be deleted after this point.


Contact Us to Request Account Deletion

Alternatively, users can send an email using the Contact Us page. Including the following information will help us remove information more quickly:

  • Username
  • Email address used
  • Pool Math Account Number (if created)

How to find your PoolMath Account ID

To find your account ID inside of Pool Math:

  1. Click on the icon in the top left corner of the app with 3 horizontal lines
  2. Select "About TFP" (This will open a page with more details) 
  3. Scroll down slightly until you see your "Account ID" identification number.
  4. Click the “Copy Account ID” button and paste that into the Contact Us page.
